I've gotten into reading other's blogs around the web...primarily out of the endurance cycling arena. This is no surprise to most - it's a great way to stay in tune with what's goin' on out there.

Rides like these don't always make for the best pure riding, but they are always memorable for one reason or another!! There are just so many far out trails to explore here in SW Colorado.
Finally, I've got a route through the San Juan Mountains I'm affectionately calling the "Vuelta a San Juan". Dorky name? Yes. Great route? Absolutely. This will be a loop starting and ending in Durango; passing through Telluride, Ouray, Lake City and Silverton. I haven't nailed the mileage yet, but I'd guess it would come in around 300-400 miles.
