Me and Turge got out onto the CO Trail yesterday for a traverse over to Corral Draw - consistently one of my favorite trails in the area.  I felt TERRIBLE - looking back I had not drank any water the whole morning and was fairly active loading up 15 bikes for a big shuttle.  I had not had such a crappy day on the bike in quite some time, but it was worth the torture to get up to Corral Draw:

Fun ride, but next time I'll hydrate...even a little!

I'm also enjoying the Tour Divide and GDR race coverage.  Admittedly I wish I was out there, but then again the reality of being out there is much different.

Busier than Sh!t

Wow, I actually have too much to blog about and not enough time.  First off - I'm officially unemployed!!!  This is the first time in 12 years or so that I'm not in technology sales/bizdev.  I led my first day tour about a week and half ago and it occurred to me that my trailside rest spot was my new office.  I like the view!  I'm so happy I made this change.  That doesn't mean it won't be tough going, but I've made the right decision for me and that's good enough for now.

Hermosa Creek Trail is now open: Photoggage  I dropped a group off yesterday to saw out all the downed trees, so it should be all clear now.

Thinking of selling my Intense 5.5 and getting a Niner RIP 9.  Discuss.
